MEET THE ARTIST!
Hi! I am Karen Wilson-Dooley, a freelance writer and multimedia artist -- a lifetime "craftaholic" with a fetish for beads, clay, metal, fabric, paint, colored pencils and markers, paper, glue, thread, ribbon, power tools, wood, books -- well, you get the idea!
I realized at an early age that I was born with a double gift as both a writer and an artist. As God would have it, I was blessed to inherit my mother's talent for writing and my father's artistic abilities -- a combination that has kept me busy -- and often times overwhelmed -- most of my life, although I enjoy every minute of it.

Finding the perfect balance as a writer and multimedia artist is pretty much impossible, but to enjoy the best of two perfect worlds for me, I just go with the flow and it just works. I simply juggle, although a skill I have not yet perfected!
Early in my career, I turned my writing talents into a full-time business. As the years passed, I maintained a burning desire to transition from a full-time writing career to a business where I could showcase and sell my art. It's been a long time coming, but I am finally there!

Based on my favorite book by Danielle Steel, Fine Things, I bring you Fine Things For Her -- an eclectic mix of my passions in art!
